Music, to me, is one of the most beneficial therapies to exist on earth. There is a song for every emotion that comes over me, whether it is “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys because I’m feeling motivated, “Rescue” by Lauren Daigle because I need some uplifting, or even “Dance With Me” by Morgan Evans because I’m full of child-like butterflies. There is a song for everything and that’s what makes the process of selecting favorites so hard. For example, last week my favorite song was “Fear is a Liar” by Zach Williams, and this week my favorite song is “My Miracle” by Brad Paisley. My favorites never stay the same. Although, all my favorite songs are all either Christian, motivational, or love songs. Anything that will uplift me has a chance of being my favorite song. In contrast, I feel that favorite is a strong word. It’s too hard to pick just one favorite because music is what I live by. It’s the thing that keeps me going on a daily basis. In summary, music is a key part of my life and when asked to pick a favorite, I struggle to make a decision.

A big strength of this blog post is the title “Rhythm of My Life.” Especially because a lot of this music is motivational and uplifting, as it is a key part of life for many people. The list of songs flows well together in the paragraph form and doesn’t just look like a normal list of favorite songs.
